Being a hunting lights geek, I’m always looking to find a new brightest coon hunting light on the market. Right now, I think that this title should go to the InnoGear 5000 Lumens model and I’m going to review it to show you why.
A good hunting light with high brightness can be invaluable to you during your hunt. You can easily spot raccoons and other animals at night and save a lot of time looking for them.
True, any light is better than no light, but a top-quality coon hunting headlamp can make a huge difference compared to the average one. With so many coon light models out there today, I admit that it can be a bit hard to find the brightest coon hunting light on the market.
I’ve worked with coon hunting equipment for years now and I obsess with lights, perhaps a bit too much. In this review, I’ll describe InnoGear 5000 Lumen brightest hunting flashlight in detail and help you decide why you should buy it or not.

InnoGear 5000 Lumens Review: Is This the Brightest Coon Hunting Light on the Market?
With the brightness of an impressive 5000 lumens, this is one of if not the brightest coon hunting light on the market today. It’s also the brightest headlamp for hunting that I’ve come across so far and all of my hunting friends agree with it.
I’m honestly impressed with the build quality of the headlamp. It’s extremely durable and quite comfortable to wear while providing you with incredible brightness and long battery life.
What Makes InnoGear so Bright?
InnoGear headlamp comes with three CREE XM-L2 LED lights, the big one in the middle and two smaller ones on both sides. These powerful lights work in 4 different modes: low, mid, high and flashing light.
This way you can choose the right power mode for the occasion and you can use flashing/strobe light when you want to be seen. You also have a green safety light available on the back of the headlamp for visibility.
These powerful LED lights produce the astonishing brightness of 5000 lumens, which is the highest number of lumens you can put in a tactical flashlight. To put this into context, HID car headlights usually have the brightness of approximately 3000 lumens.
What Battery Life to Expect?
The brightest coon hunting light on the market needs to have great batteries to power such a strong light for a long time. InnoGear comes with 2 rechargeable lithium batteries which take about four to six hours in order to be fully recharged.
These lithium batteries can usually last up to tens of thousands of hours before you need to replace them. Honestly, it would be great if they could last a bit longer, but they are not that hard to replace and the replacements are affordable too.
If you have used the same batteries for a long time, it’s a good idea to get the spare ones in advance.
Also, the batteries tend to slowly drain when the headlamp is not in use, so you should remove them from the headlamp if you are not going to use it for a while. You will get a wall charger and a USB cable included in the package.
Features and Other Uses of InnoGear
I really like the head strap of the InnoGear headlamp, it is completely adjustable and you can make a perfect custom fit for your head.
The strap is made from comfortable soft fabric and you’ll never get annoyed by wearing it. It’s great if you need to wear it over helmets or hats too.
The great thing about the lights is that they can be rotated and adjusted in whatever position you need them. Hunting in the rain won’t be a problem since InnoGear brightest hunting flashlight is waterproof, but it’s not a good idea to submerge it in water.
Even though this is labeled as the brightest coon hunting light on the market, you can still use it for many other things. It’s perfect for similar outdoor activities, such as fishing and hiking at night.
I promise you that you won’t go camping again without this headlamp considering how useful it is, especially when you need to find firewood. Some of my friends love using it for cave exploring too.
Besides that, it also serves as a great power bank since you can charge phones, cameras and other devices with it.
What are its Pros and Cons?
Of course, the first and the biggest advantage of InnoGear is that it’s the brightest coon hunting light on the market with powerful 5000 lumens LED lights. The light is also quite versatile, offering you more than enough options with the modes.
I like the hands-free aspect of the headlight and it’s great to know that the InnoGear is quite comfortable and rotatable. Even though battery life could use improvement, I love having rechargeable batteries in my hunting light.
No matter how great this headlight is, it still some slight flaws. The batteries and their case are a bit bulky and larger then usual, but it’s not a problem if you don’t mind a bit of extra weight.
The battery case is also very uncomfortable if you want to lie on your back, but you will probably want to take the headlight off before lying down. Batteries tend to die a bit earlier than advertised so you may want to have spares on you while hunting.
Pros
- Extremely bright
- Waterproof and rotatable
- Useful for hunting, camping, fishing
- 4 different light modes
- Safety light included
Cons
- Bulky battery case
- A bit on the heavy side
Final thoughts
Without a doubt, InnoGear is the brightest coon hunting light on the market that I’ve managed to find so far. Have in mind that new models appear every day and that there may be some better models already out. However, even with brighter models available, this amazing coon hunting light is still a great choice.
